Economics department was started in 1974 with the establishment of the college. Presently, one Associate Professor and one Assistant Professor and one adhoc faculty are offering their services in the department. Apart from the teaching work, many co-curricular activities are organized aiming the all round development of students of the department. They are taken to field visits & industrial visits to get acquainted with the new developments in the respective fields. They are always groomed for becoming self reliant and self confident in the future. Every year, ‘Cooperative Week’ is celebrated with the help of Panchmahal District Cooperative Sangh, under its aegis, several lectures of eminent scholars and entrepreneurs are organized to boost the morale of the students. With all these efforts, the performance of students in the internal and the University exams are getting better and they also get excelled in the real walks of life.
